university chicken

the bay area is great – no really i love it and would never want to ever live anywhere else – but i always have a tough time finding decent places for specific kinds of food. however this wing place rocks. if you just want wings, this place has 7 different heat levels – everything from mild to global thermo nuclear. plus they have fries and gravy – a canadian staple i really miss. even better they also have fries with cheese. and of course the piece de resistance – you can ask for both gravy and cheese on your fries and voila – a poor mans poutine – a quebecois delicacy beloved all over canada. it not quite real poutine – as real poutine uses cheese curds and not stright up cheese, its still the closest you can get in the bay area.

sliders burgers

got an awesome burger here the other day. highly recommended! i even started talking to the guy about actually serving sliders, you know those little tiny burgers places like white castle sells in the mid west. anyways, my good deed for the day, i brought him a bag of kings hawaiian dinner rolls, which i always thought would make awesome slider buns. hope he decides to put them on the menu.

there is so much food the bay area is missing, imho. a decent jewish deli. a decent caribbean place for roti. more greek food. we seem to have asia and india covered, lets get some more decent east coast and midwest food out here. everyone here eats out so restaurants should do well.
